Biomedical scientists test and examine samples of blood, urine and tissues, helping doctors to diagnose, treat and monitor diseases. They use their knowledge and test results to advise doctors and nurses. Biomedical scientists need a good knowledge of areas like pathology, anatomy and physiology.
